My husband and I met in the Navy and have been stationed in the Hampton Roads area for ten years now. We have been together for seven years and we have a five-year-old son as well as three dogs and two cats. We have also fostered kittens in the past.
We love visiting museums, aquariums, and zoos.

I was in the Navy for four years as a CTM, or Cryptologic Technician-Maintenance. I was stationed in Norfolk, but spent a year temporarily assigned to the USS Ross in Spain.
While in the military I designed and conducted trainings as an Assistant Educational Petty Officer and organized command-wide events as the vice president of our command's Diversity Committee. I left the military to pursue my education full-time.
During our tour of the Mediterranean, I visited Scotland, Spain, Portugal, Sicily, Israel, Romania, Turkey, and Greece.
Pictured is me in Romania, fulfilling a lifelong dream of visiting Peles and Bran Castles.

I have always been artistic. Growing up I drew, but as an adult I am primarily a painter.
I specialize in portraits, as well as stylized anatomy and nature, using acrylics and gouache.
Ever since I was a little girl watching the Addams Family and the Munsters, I have been obsessed with all things spooky.
I love the Romantics and my favorite books are Frankenstein by Shelley and Fleurs du Mal by Baudelaire. I collect antique books and have about a dozen that are over a hundred years old.
